Kirsty didn't always shine bright like an 80's Disco Ball! She was painfully shy, bullied for being; weird, freckled, having ginger frizzy hair, pale skin, being dumb having 'odd ideas', sticking up for the underdog and having an accent! Kirsty was a misfit, not knowing her place in life. She struggled academically and suffered low self esteem, depression and anxiety. She learned to be a people pleaser, to avoid conflict and eventually found herself living a life without purpose. These 'adventurous teachings' or school of hard knocks, taught her the following 3 things about the workforce:
Kirsty specializes in reframing change and conflict. She assists teams to create positive culture, healthy habits and a safe platform for them to take risks and increase productivity. Kirsty teaches recalibration strategies and skills. She's traveled the world (Australia, New Zealand, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Singapore, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Amsterdam, England, Thailand and the USA), lived and worked in five different countries and started four entrepreneurial businesses.
Kirsty radiates energy, enthusiasm and excitement. She walks the walk, as a 'Metamorph-asized Misfit', talks the talk as a professional speaker and is passionate about assisting teams to transform. Kirsty has a Master’s degree in Teaching, she's a Neuro-Linguistic Programmer (NLP), Certified Life Coach, Certified Health Coach, and a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA).
She has an incredible gift as a "Misfit Whisperer!" She works with organizations and teams to; inspire, motivate and connect deeply. Her genuine personality and vulnerability, allow a safe space for participants to accept and embrace change. Kirsty has a unique blend of humor, diverse life experience and practical tools to make her presentations, energetic, engaging, entertaining and enticing.
